3. Estimates and Quotes
Estimates and quotes provided by Horizon Windows & Doors are based on the information available at the time of
preparation.
Final pricing may be affected by:

• Structural or framing issues
• Removal of existing windows or doors
• Unforeseen damage
• Changes requested by the customer
• Product availability or manufacturer price changes
• Additional labor or materials required for proper installation
Unless otherwise stated in writing, an estimate is not a guarantee of final project cost.
Any additional work or costs resulting from conditions that could not reasonably be identified during the initial estimate
may require customer approval before the work is completed.

4. Measurements and Product Specifications
Final measurements must be taken by Horizon Windows & Doors or its authorized representatives before products are
ordered.
Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving product selections, including sizes, styles, colors, finishes,
glass options, hardware, grids, swing direction, and other specifications when applicable.
Once products have been ordered, changes or cancellations may be subject to manufacturer policies, restocking fees,
special-order charges, or other costs.

5. Product Availability
We work with various manufacturers and suppliers. Product availability, manufacturing times, shipping schedules, and
delivery dates are subject to change.
Horizon Windows & Doors is not responsible for delays caused by manufacturers, suppliers, shipping companies,
weather, labor shortages, material shortages, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant delays when we become aware of them.

6. Installation
Installation work will be performed according to the agreed scope of work and applicable manufacturer installation
requirements.
Existing homes may contain conditions that cannot be determined until existing windows or doors are removed. These
conditions may include damaged framing, rot, water damage, mold, improper previous installation, or structural issues.
Additional work required because of concealed or unforeseen conditions may result in additional charges. Customers
will be notified when reasonably possible before additional work is performed.

7. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
• Providing reasonable access to the property and work areas
• Removing personal belongings or items that may interfere with installation
• Securing pets and children away from the work area
• Informing Horizon Windows & Doors of known structural, electrical, plumbing, or other conditions that may affect the
project
• Providing access to electricity or other reasonable utilities when necessary
• Obtaining any permits or approvals specifically assigned to the customer under the written agreement
Horizon Windows & Doors is not responsible for damage to personal property that was not properly removed or
protected by the customer.

8. Payment
Payment terms will be provided in the customer’s proposal, contract, or invoice.
Customers agree to pay all amounts due according to the agreed payment schedule. Failure to make required
payments may result in delays, suspension of work, cancellation of services, or other remedies available under
applicable law.
Any returned payments, collection costs, or other applicable charges may be the responsibility of the customer to the
extent permitted by law.

9. Deposits
Deposits are required before products are ordered.
Because many window and door products are custom-made or special-order items, deposits may be non-refundable
once products have been ordered or entered into production, subject to applicable law and the terms of the customer’s
signed agreement.
Specific deposit and cancellation terms will be included in the applicable proposal or contract.

10. Cancellations and Changes
Customers should contact Horizon Windows & Doors as soon as possible if they wish to modify a project.
Modification requests may be subject to manufacturer policies, product restocking charges, materials
already purchased, labor performed, administrative costs, or other expenses incurred by Horizon Windows & Doors.
Any cancellation rights provided by applicable federal or state law remain unaffected by these Terms and Conditions.

11. Warranty
Products may be covered by warranties provided by the applicable manufacturer. Manufacturer warranties vary by
product and manufacturer.
Horizon Windows & Doors may also provide installation or workmanship warranties when specifically stated in the
customer’s written agreement.
Warranty coverage does not necessarily include damage caused by misuse, neglect, improper maintenance,
modifications, accidents, normal wear and tear, acts of nature, or conditions outside the control of Horizon Windows &
Doors.
Customers should retain copies of their contracts, invoices, and applicable warranty information.

12. Color, Texture, and Product Appearance
Product photographs displayed on our website are for illustration purposes. Actual colors, finishes, textures, glass
appearance, wood grain, and other product characteristics may vary depending on lighting, screen settings,
manufacturing processes, and product batches.
Minor variations do not necessarily constitute a defect.
13. Existing Conditions and Water Intrusion
Replacement windows and doors are installed into existing structures. Horizon Windows & Doors cannot guarantee the
condition of concealed areas of a building before existing products are removed.
Where applicable, existing water intrusion, drainage issues, flashing problems, siding conditions, roofing issues,
foundation movement, or structural deficiencies may contribute to future water infiltration or other problems and may
require additional corrective work.
Installation of a new window or door does not correct unrelated structural or building-envelope deficiencies unless
specifically included in the written scope of work.

14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Horizon Windows & Doors will not be liable for indirect, incidental,
special, consequential, or unforeseeable damages arising from the use of our website, products, or services.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to limit any rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited under
applicable law.

15. Third-Party Products and Manufacturers
Horizon Windows & Doors may sell and install products manufactured by third parties.
Manufacturer warranties, specifications, installation requirements, and product limitations may apply. Horizon Windows
